ENERGY: You Control More Than You Think

Energy is the feeling you carry and the vibe you bring into a room. It affects your focus, your attitude, and how you treat people. The best part? You can learn how to control your energy.

Thoughts shape your energy.
What you’re thinking becomes what you feel.
And what you feel can change what you do next.

Your thoughts affect your mood Your mood affects your actions Your actions affect your results
How Energy Works (In Real Life)
1) Thoughts → Energy

Your thoughts are like the “playlist” in your head. If the playlist is negative, your energy feels heavy. If the playlist is positive and focused, your energy feels stronger.

You don’t control every thought, but you can choose which thoughts you keep.

2) Energy → Behavior

When your energy is calm and confident, you make better decisions. When your energy is angry or stressed, you might say things you don’t mean or give up too soon.

Your energy is your “tone” — people feel it before you even speak.

3) Behavior → Results

Your results come from your actions. If you can guide your energy, you can guide your actions. And when your actions improve, your results improve.

Small energy shifts can lead to big life changes.

What You Control (Even When Life Is Loud)

You might not control everything happening around you, but you control how you respond. Your response is power. Energy isn’t magic… it’s practice.

1
Your focus

You can choose what to pay attention to: the problem… or the solution.

2
Your self-talk

The way you talk to yourself can boost you up or break you down. Choose coach talk, not bully talk.

3
Your choices

Even one smart choice can change your whole day: breathe, pause, ask for help, try again.

Try These (5 Minutes)
The “Reset Breath”

Do this when your energy feels stressed or angry:

Breathe in 4 seconds.
Hold 2 seconds.
Breathe out 6 seconds.
Repeat 3 times.

The Thought Switch

Catch a negative thought and switch it to:

“What’s one thing I CAN do right now?”

The Energy Check

Ask yourself:

“Is my energy helping me or hurting me?”
“What do I want to feel next?”

Protecting Your Energy

Your energy gets stronger when you protect it. That means avoiding drama, choosing good friends, resting when you need to, and staying focused on your goals.
