Alumni in Action

The Blazers has provided a safe haven for learning in the greater Los Angeles area since 1969. Get to know the organization and hear our impact directly from current students and alumni. This video features Rodolfo Ramirez, a menswear designer and inspiring Blazer.

Rodolfo joined The Blazers and was a part of the organization for four years. He was the student president of our after school leadership program. Through our collaborative relationships with local non-profits he managed the nations first student managed company (Food From the ‘Hood), led an effort to redevelop the Crenshaw District and among many other things traveled to the London School of economics to study financial banking.

He went on to Study Architecture at the University of Southern California and is the Creative Director and Co-Founder of menswear brand Pocket Square Clothing. Rodolfo has been on The Blazers board since early 2013.
